Poster of the Escenas de Verano Festival 2023

The Region of Madrid will organize more than 200 activities as part of this event, which will take place from Juy 1 to September 3.

The Escenas de Verano Festival proposes one more year to bring live culture to every corner of the region. Dance, theater, music, art, circus and much more in a meeting of proximity, open to all audiences, and includes artists such as Silvia Marsó, the Youth Orchestra of the Community of Madrid, Brezza Ensemble, Egeria, Aracaladanza, Strad the violinist or Morboria Teatro.

From classical to contemporary, the Escenas de Verano Festival, which this year celebrates its fourth edition, confirms its solid commitment to innovation, experimentation and creativity. Taking into account the different artistic approaches, the activities are grouped into eight major artistic proposals. First of all, Artes Escénicas en Municipios has a wide range of live cultural offerings ranging from street theater, circus, puppetry, dance, musical theater and parades, among other modalities. This wide variety of shows can be enjoyed in 51 municipalities such as Serranillos del Valle, Brea de Tajo, Collado Mediano, Hoyo de Manzanares or Pedrezuela.

Churches, parishes and castles will once again be the protagonists of the Clásicos en Verano concerts, a reference event for 36 years, which, integrated in Escenas, will feature 90 recitals by prestigious institutions and artists. The ultimate goal is to decentralize the best classical music, bringing it to more than 53 towns of less than 2,500 inhabitants, such as Ajalvir, Becerril de la Sierra, Cercedilla, Torrelaguna, Valdilecha or Guadarrama.

This multidisciplinary event is a unique commitment of the regional government of the Community of Madrid to sustainable tourism and the decentralization of the cultural center: a dynamic proposal of inclusion and accessibility that will bring together the best of the arts live during July, August and September. Enjoy the summer with us!
