EL ÁLAMO

The natural environment is characterized by the predominance of the countryside and sparse vegetation. For 20 years it has held a Medieval Fair of great attraction for residents and visitors. 

Within the artistic heritage of El Álamo, the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de la Soledad -from the XVI century with restoration in the XX century- and the Humilladero de San Isidro -located in front of the Hermitage- stand out. In the municipality, it also enjoys special interest an entirely granite transept, from 1625, which shows a cross supported by a Doric column resting on a rectangular base.
