Metro Network

Since 1919, when the section between Sol and Cuatro Caminos started service, the metro network has grown and integrated with other means of transport. Currently, Metro network comprises 238 stations on 12 lines, plus the Ópera-Príncipe Pío railroad line.

Light rail/ Tram

Since mid-2007, the Madrid Region has a light-rail network of 35.4 kilometers length. With 52 network-stations, the four lines existing at Madrid, Pozuelo de Alarcón, Boadilla del Monte and Parla, configure the territory and connect residential and business zones to other means of transport with a greater capacity. capacidad.

Tourist Ticket

The tourist ticket is a personal card that allows to make an unlimited number of trips, using the regular passengers transport services operating within the chosen zone, but with the appropriate exceptions.

This ticket, that can be purchased in the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, all the Metro de Madrid network stations and the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid Management office, exists in two modalities: Public Transport Card and coupon. The coupon can be used until 31 December 2017. From that moment you can only use the Multi Card.
