The Regional Transport Consortium of Madrid offers a complete network of city, intercity and long-distance buses.

City buses

The city of Madrid has an excellent urban buses network, consisting of 203 lines covering a total length of 3,562 km and more than 10,172 bus stops-line.

In addition to a total of 37 have a urban bus lines specific network, from the 179 municipalities composing the Region of Madrid.

Intercity buses

On the other hand, the Region of Madrid has an extensive bus lines network, with 20,000 services a day, and 29 private bus companies operating the 324 lines.

Long distance bus

Finally, and thanks to the long distance network, mobility between different Autonomous Communities is very simple.

Tourist Ticket

The tourist ticket is a personal card that allows to make an unlimited number of trips, using the regular passengers transport services operating within the chosen zone, but with the appropriate exceptions.

This ticket, that can be purchased in the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, all the Metro de Madrid network stations and the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid Management office, exists in two modalities: Public Transport Card and coupon. The coupon can be used until 31 December 2017. From that moment you can only use the Multi Card.
