On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, better known as the Chinese New Year, the Spring Race 2024 - Year of the Dragon will take to the streets of Madrid on February 18th.

The Paseo de la Castellana will be dyed red, the color of good luck in Chinese tradition, to celebrate the beginning of the Year of the Dragon through running.

Starting and finishing at the Paseo de Recoletos, participants will be able to choose between three distances: 5, 8 and 16 kilometers. The route will include emblematic places such as Plaza de Colón, Plaza Castilla or the area around Santiago Bernabéu in the case of the longer distance.

In order to celebrate the Chinese New Year globally, the Spring Race 2024 - Year of the Dragon offers the opportunity to participate VIRTUALLY, so that people can join from anywhere in the world, regardless of their geographical location.
