The Region of Madrid celebrates Hispanidad 2023 to the rhythm of Carlos Vives

The Region of Madrid will celebrate Hispanidad 2023 between October 6 and 15 with a great cultural and gastronomic offer, and with the Dominican Republic as guest country under the slogan "All accents fit in Madrid".

In this third edition, which kicks off on October 6 with the opening speech of the Nicaraguan writer and Cervantes Prize winner, Sergio Ramirez, you can enjoy many new features such as the free concert of the Colombian artist Carlos Vives at Puerta de Alcalá on Saturday October 14 at 13 hours.

Hispanidad 2023 will host artists from 17 different countries who will participate in more than 120 activities held in the streets and the main cultural spaces of Madrid.

On October 7, Madrid will be filled with colors along Bravo Murillo and Fuencarral streets to welcome the Hispanidad Parade, led by the Real Banda de Gaiteros de Ourense and made up of 400 members of groups from Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

On the National Day, October 12, the cultural program will be wide and diverse, with concerts in the Plaza Mayor by Juan Valderrama and the show of Corral de la Morería.
