In the central district of Chueca is this tablao that opened its doors in February 2019. Its young trajectory does not prevent me from connecting with the most authentic tradition of flamenco. Dance, singing, foot tapping and guitar, along with all the folklore of flamenco shows.
The dancers Pedro Córdoba and Lisi Sfair direct this elegant space that is committed to proximity, good visibility from all the seats and unbeatable acoustics. It has a capacity for 54 people, so that all spectators have the best possible experience of their shows.
The tablao is located in an area with a certain flamenco tradition, dating back to the 18th century, with the nearby Calle Barquillo being mentioned in several seguidillas of the period. The building where the centre is located is a restored manor house, originally from the 19th century.
Come to the centre one evening and enjoy intimate, passionate and authentic flamenco. There are also record and book presentations, conferences, photography and painting exhibitions and even costume exhibitions. Enjoy an afternoon of storytelling, discover the connections between photography and the flamenco scene or attend an authentic fashion show. Visit the Flamenco Cultural Centre!
