Do you want to spend a dream summer night? We have the perfect plan. Walk under the night sky of Hoyo de Manzanares with the program "De Hoyo al Cielo", an initiative that since 2008, is already a classic in the summer months in the mountains of Madrid. The guided nocturnal stargazing trips.
Despite being very close to Madrid center, the sky of Hoyo de Manzanares offers a vision of the stars up to four times better. The night excursions organized by the town council are a success, receiving a master class in the light of the moon and the stars, but places are limited.
This is a night walk in a quiet area on the outskirts of town, where the impact of starlight is much greater. Guided by an expert astronomer, on this occasion the mathematician Manuel Marín. You will learn to identify stars, constellations and other celestial bodies. And you will also learn stories related to mythology and the stars, another tourist attraction in Hoyo and a great experience!
The tour lasts approximately three hours and starts at 11 pm. In addition, as icing on the cake, you can enjoy a delicious lemonade at the end of the route in El Portalón while listening to a night story.
