This is a unique space, born from the innovative idea of a group of artists, which has been consolidated since its birth as a reference place in avant-garde sculpture. The Museum of Open Air Sculptures in Leganés is waiting for you with extensive opening hours and for all audiences.

This museum is a strategic enclave for the promotion of culture, not only in the municipality, but also in the Region of Madrid, with an agenda of activities adapted to all audiences, both adults and young people. A clear objective, which is none other than the dissemination of art through multiple activities, in discussions, talks, master classes, guided visits...

As a result of this informative initiative, it is important to emphasize the innumerable works and documentation that have seen the light during these years, and that have been shaped in postgraduate projects, theses of students of Fine Arts, publications of prestigious art critics, as well as reports of different national and international media.

With a total surface area of 27,000 square metres, this unique project in Spain includes works by the most outstanding artists of the 20th century, including Martin Chirino, Jorge Oteiza, Agustín Ibarrola, Pablo Serrano and José Hernández, as well as a long list of great creators.

One of the elements to highlight in this cultural space, are the temporary deposits that come from the collections of the main art galleries, such as the Prado Museum or the Reina Sofía Museum, as well as the transfer of works by the Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo of the Region of Madrid, and of course the contribution of recognized artists and private collectors.
