Its natural environment of the municipality is characterized by being located in a plain area with soft elevations where the cultivated fields and the olive trees stand out. Its church of the Assumption keeps a sanctified copy of the Shroud of Turin.

The artistic heritage of Torres de la Alameda offers interesting examples of religious architecture. The Church of the Assumption is an outstanding building built in the 16th century in different styles. It has a basilica floor plan with three naves and among its outstanding elements are the porticoed cloister and the Mudejar tower. Inside the temple there is a sanctified copy of the Holy Shroud of Turin as well as other objects and images of worship.
