The press has described him as “the dreamer mime”, “the master of funny situations” and “the Nobel of laughter”. Joseph Collard arrives to the Alfil Theatre with Zic-Zag, a show to demonstrate that these statements suit him perfectly. Funny and without words, this master of gestural humour tells the story of how he became a universal mime reference. He remembers all his professional life and plays the people who, with their influence helped him to grown and to turn into what it is today. Thus, his grandfather, a Russian teacher extremely dull, an Englishman who works with the body or the first time he faced the audience are played during this show that, after passing through Brazil, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, France and Austria, arrives to Madrid. Zic – Zag is the first show created by Joseph Collard, after leaving the Les Founambules theatre company. Zic-Zag Other plays at the Alfil Theatre |
