In the Letras neighbourhood we find the Lope de Vega’s House Museum where we are going to enjoy with the plays by Lope and Cervantes, a funny way to approach the figures of the most representative writers of the Golden Age Literature.
The Art centers and museums in the Community of Madrid also want to join the celebration of the International Museum Day. One of the refrence places in contemporary art CAM2M-Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo located in Móstoles, has prepared two different tours in order we to know the whole collections. The special hours are from 12.00 to 01.30 p.m. and from 06.00 to 07.30 p.m. Registration is free and can be done in this e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In Alcalá de Henares, Cervantes is the protagonist of this Museum Day. In his Birthplace House, now a Museum, we can see the show The Magic of the Museum at 21.00 by Manuel Vera. The show consists of magic tricks from the Golden Age, such as rings, the cards up or the Talking Head that Cervantes himself describes in a chapter of Don Quixote. These are just some of the activities that we wanted to highlight the wide range of programs that exist and which can be viewed here. Now we only have to wish you a happy Museum Day in Madrid.
