Near the Cultural Center Conde Duque, we find a new reference for the art of illustrations and drawings. The Abc foundation have compiled the most representative works published on ABC newspaper and on the magazine Blanco y Negro. The result has been this museum, where we can admire more than 200.000 illustrations made by 1.500 artists. Located in Amaniel Street, this museum has 3000 square kilometres and has joined the avant-garde with the tradition. It is a place where you can travel along the history through the illustrations. Its first exhibition is called The Iceberg Effect and here you are going to know how this idea was born in 1891. In the Iceberg Effect we can admire the illustrations that accompanied the news and articles in the magazine Blanco y Negro, a reference during the first decades of the XXth Century. The building where the museum is located, it is also a real art work. The façade has been renewed and it is become in a modern building with traditional taste. This building housed one of the first breweries in Madrid.
