Los Veranos de la Villa

From the 23rd of June till the 28th of August the stages at Puerta del Ángel, Los Jardines de Sabatini, El Matadero, Conde Duque and theaters of the capital will gather the cultural offer of the festival.

If what you really like is to enjoy the summer at open-air, the streets at the center of the city are the new scene of the festival: classic music at Plaza de Oriente; music from all over the world at Templo de Debod; “danza calles” at Plaza de Sánchez Bustillo; the concert of the Orquesta West-Eastern Divan at Plaza Mayor; the concerts of Banda Sinfónica in Retiro or the exhibitions at Casa de Africa at Plaza de Opera and Arenal are only some of the proposals to enjoy this summer in Madrid. The concerts of Spanish artists like M Clan, Love of Lesbian or Los Planetas with their new job “Una Opera Egipcia” with international artists like The Beach Boys or Cyndi Lauper will be held at Puerta del Ángel. At Jardines de Sabatini there will be concerts of zarzuela, flamenco and opera, among other shows. One more time, the great 300 m2 screen Open Air Madrid at Parque Tierno Galván will project 15 of the most famous movies and the previews of Bad Teacher and Paul. This place has restaurants, terraces and music sessions till 3.00 a.m. with the best Spanish dj´s. Another summer cinema is based at Parque de la Bombilla, Fescinal, from the 24th of June till the 3rd of September. The Schedule includes classic cinema, the last movies, films in original version and movies for kids.Tthe most amazing part is the meeting of directors and actors with the public. Los Veranos de la Villa have also an important theater offer, El Evangelio según Pilatos at Conde-Duque, , Crazy Love at Circo Price or Las siete vidas del gato at Teatro Galileo are only a few pieces of the whole cultural offer of the festival.

Festival de Clásicos en Verano

This Festival celebrates its 24th edition and is dedicated to the medieval music and the own pieces made by the own festival. The concerts take place at the historic center of fifty towns of the region Madrid like Castillo de Manzanares El Real or Patio de Armas de Buitrago del Lozoya.

Flute, piano, violin, harp, guitar and cello concerts and much more are waiting for you at the Festival de Clásicos en Verano, from the 2nd of July until the 15th of August and at the best prize! the most part of these concerts are free! With friends, in couple, with your family… or with kids, the summer in Madrid is for everybody.
