A restaurant without address, a noiselessly after-hours, restaurants with no tables at all and a very “cold” bar, all this is in Madrid.

Or we should say you find it in Madrid, referring to Enigmatium, the only restaurant in the world that doesn’t say where it is located. After making your reservation, two days before the dinner you’ll receive the clues to discover its location. This is just the first of the puzzles to solve, as much for dinner, to enjoy performances and surprises your friends and you have to decipher a long list of unknowns.

You only need to be curious, not afraid of the unknown, but quite the opposite, and surround yourself with the cleverest, adventurous and sharp people. Leave your watch and phone in the closet... now anything can happen.

Remember well that every detail counts, it is important to pay attention to everything going on around you. The menu is full of mystery; the owners say that you will have a tasty dinner, whatever happens.

Among mattresses

The banquets in style of our ancestors make a whole tendency in Madrid, yes, eating lied down has become fashionable.

The club restaurant Laydown (Plaza Mostenses n. 9) has led its staging avant-garde in New York, Bangkok, Rome, Amsterdam ... and now in our city.

Take your shoes off and get comfortable, two giant "beds", which surround the entire perimeter of the premises on two levels, which can accommodate up to 140 people, will do the rest.

Entertaining live performances, electrifying dj session or fun participatory shows will be responsible to stand you up.

To the delight of your palate the chef Alfredo Gómez prepares Mediterranean dishes, with rich oriental recipes and southern American products. The duck breast with Porto wine reduction and ginger, lobster biscuit, golden fillets with mandarin sauce, the baked hake loin with lime, humus borek, the foie gras with caramelized onion, Andean polenta or rice scallops with mango and sweet ... if just reading these lines makes your mouth water, book a "bed" as soon as possible and keep in mind that it is open from Wednesday to Sunday.

Similar features have Mezklum Tech Restaurant, Ene or Areia, other establishments in the capital that allow you to enjoy a feast as an ancient Roman.

A very cold drink

So, you want to drink a very cold drink, and as in Madrid, we like to exaggerate... not only we put ice in your cocktail, but also to the walls, tables, the bar and décor, made by authentic ice sculptures.

We are talking about the Ice Bar, located in Conde de Romanones 3, one of the largest bars with these features in the world, with 70 square meters and ten thousand kilos of ice.

You can also choose from a wide selection of waters from around the world, see exhibitions or book a trip to Arctic places like Greenland or Lapland.

If you're thinking that you have not brought the appropriate clothing, do not worry, the site provides you with special gloves and anoraks to be there. The owners recommend not spending more than half an hour inside.

I'm going to talk quietly in an after-hours

"At this point, nothing surprises me!" This was before coming to our city, the only one that has an after-hours where you can chat with your friends without having to scream.

This is made possible by the 13 Bar’s (Arrieta 13) Silent Sound System. This is a unique sound system by which you choose what music to dance. By auriculars that you can get when you enter there, you can select several different channels, all edited exclusively for you. So, when you disconnect the headphones there will be silence around you...

As we know that the experience deserves a visit, we also say you where you can go there: from Friday to Monday and all holidays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
