The days of associating the hamburgers with “junk food” are over… Come with Turismo Madrid to discover the best recipes of this star American dish, they will surprise you…

In this route where the fast food lives together with the quality , the Alfredo’s Barbacoa is an obligatory stage. Its owner is from New York, he loves our country and he lives in Spain, carrying out strictly an unique mission: that his customers taste the real hamburgers from the United States, besides, its especial barbeque sauce or cabbage salad.

In the second restaurants that Alfredo owns located between the Chamartín and Salamanca areas, you can eat the classic burger with bacon, salad, tomato and mayonnaise, and you can try also more daring proposals, where the American homemade cuisine mixes with others cultures’ flavours, like the “Kefta” burger (with Moroccan spices) or the “brooklyn” (with mozzarella , extra virgin oil and oregano).

We follow in Chamartín neighbourhood where the Knight eliminates the mystifying features of the sentence “the good food is expensive” . In fact, you can eat here a delicious hamburger for only 5 euro, till midnight and surrounded by a warm atmosphere in pure American style. You can see curious collection’s objects like beers’ cans, distinctions, cinema’s posters, advertising’s posters and a Harley...

For the most exclusive palates

While, in Chamartín’s, Fast Good is waiting for you in a moderner space. Vivid colours inspired on Warhol, with pink and green apple tonalities and a pop wink, complete the fast food’s concept signed by Ferràn Adriá. Vegetarian and selected meats’ hamburgers or thought for kids make happy the most addicted to food people and the most elegant palates.

In Cuzco , area the New York Burger represents another place that obtains the excellence in something that normally is easy like cooking a hamburger. You can taste here also the true burgers, produced with a careful selection of ingredients, and as if they were served in a New York’s bistro.

If you want to feel like a character of the “Grease” or “Rebel without a cause” musicals, you should to go to Home Burger in the heart of Malasaña. You can sit at a comfortable leather armchair and you can bite a tasty ecologic meat’s burger, while you pry the neighbourhood’ life, through the curtains, surrounded by an international atmosphere.

You can find the most original hamburgers’ recipe, without any doubt, in the Isla del Tesoro or the vegetarians that live in Madrid’s temple. So, we eliminate the mystifying features of other sentence: “the hamburgers are only for the meat eating” . This other Malasaña’s restaurant changes the American classic recipe, that’s without meat and with baked beans, we suggest you try it before to express an opinion…you can accompany the dish with delicious ecologic wines and beers.
